Description
Due to a problem in the Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 22.2 and earlier, you might see this internal error during the Fitter-Place stage when a connection is made between the High-Speed Serial Interface (HSSI) refclk to the FPGA core. This problem only affects compilations for Intel Agilex® devices.
Resolution
There is no device connectivity from the HSSI refclk pin to the core. To fix this problem, avoid this connection in your design.
This problem is scheduled to be fixed in a future release of the Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software with a proper error message to catch this connection.
