Why is there a functional failure such as a PCIe/Ethernet link-up failure after reconfiguration of an Intel Agilex® 7 device has been completed successfully using the Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 22.1?

Due to a problem in the Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 22.1, if you are using an Intel Agilex® 7 device in Active Serial (AS) configuration mode and using Programming File Generator version 22.1 to generate the configuration bitstream from the .sof file, you might see a functional failure, such as a PCIe/Ethernet link up failure after reconfiguration has completed successfully.

To fix this problem, use the Programming File Generator from the Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 22.2 and install the following patch:

• Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software v22.2 Patch 0.11fw for Linux (.run)
• Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software v22.2 Patch 0.11fw for windows (.exe)
• Readme for Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software v22.2 Patch 0.11fw (.txt)
