Why does the Intel® Quartus® Prime Archive File (. qar) have missing files when generated in the Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software v20.3 and earlier on Windows* OS?

Due to a problem in the Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 20.3 and earlier for Windows* OS, you may see that after archiving a project the generated Intel® Quartus® Prime Archive File (. qar) may have missing files. The archiving process will stop adding files to the Intel® Quartus® Prime Archive File (. qar) after encountering a file whose path length is greater than 260 characters.

To work around this problem, verify that all the paths to the files included in your project do not exceed 260 characters, if you have any path exceeding this length, make the path shorter.
