Description
Due to a problem in the Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software v21.3 and earlier, you may see this error when compiling the Partial Reconfiguration (PR) Implementation Revision. This problem occurs when the design includes HSSI/PCIe ports that drive a PR partition that does not have any fanout in the PR Base Revision. This problem only affects Intel® Arria® 10 devices.
Resolution
To work around this problem, perform either of the following actions:
- Add fanout to these HSSI/PCIE ports in the PR Base Revision.
- Disconnect these HSSI/PCIE ports from the PR partition in the PR Base Revision.
This problem is scheduled to be fixed in a future Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software release.
