    Description

    Due to a problem in Windows Subsystem for Linux* (WSL) relating to path translation on mounted drives, Nios® II EDS tools do not work properly on the following conditions starting from Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 19.2 and Quartus® Prime Standard Edition Software version 19.1:

    • You are using an OS build version of Windows* 10 which is older than 18252.
    • Your Nios® II project and Nios II EDS installation directory are not located in a local drive. 

     

    Resolution

    To work around this problem, use a local installation of the Nios® II EDS tools and a local drive for your Nios II project.
