    Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition

Description

Due to a problem in the Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 21.1 and earlier, you may see the below error message when you try to use "MSI to GIC Generator Intel FPGA IP" in Platform Designer tool :

 

Error: Component altera_msi_to_gic_gen_inst does not support selected device family Agilex

Resolution

This problem has been fixed beginning with the Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 21.2.
