How can I check if a .sof (SRAM Object File) file contains a Signal Tap instance?

Description

You can use the jtagconfig utility to identify if a Signal Tap instance is available by displaying the available services on the JTAG interface.

To find out if Signal Tap is available in the .sof file, perform the following actions:

  1. Program your board with the .sof file
  2. From the command line run utility 'jtagcofig --debug' . If Signal Tap is present you will see a line starting with Node Signal Tap # listed under particular device.
