    Description

    Due to a problem in the Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition software version 17.0 and earlier, you may see this error when connecting to the Signal Tap Logic Analyzer instance on your board. This problem occurs when you use the basic OR trigger.

    Resolution

    To work around this problem, follow either of these conditions

    • Use the basic AND trigger condition only
    • With basic OR, keep at least one bus enabled for trigger input and set it to a trigger condition other than and/or

    This problem is fixed beginning with version 17.1 of the Intel Quartus Prime Pro Edition software.
