Why does the Mailbox Client Intel® FPGA IP only read 0.6V from the Intel® Agilex® Voltage Sensor when the VCCR_CORE is 1.2V?

Description

Due to a problem in the Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition software version 20.4 and earlier, you may an incorrect voltage reported for of VCCR_CORE (Channel 5 in the Intel® Agilex® Voltage Sensor). This is becasue the value is not doubled correctly.

Resolution

To work around this problem, manually double the reported voltage value.

This problem is fixed starting with the Intel Quartus Prime Pro Edition software version 21.1 .
