How can I determine which version of the Quartus II software was used to generate an archive?

Description

To determine which version of the Quartus® II software generated a Quartus II archive (.qar), you can refer to the Quartus II archive log file (.qarlog). If a .qarlog is unavailable, look at one of the Quartus II report (.rpt) files that were included in the .qar, such as the <project_name>.flow.rpt.
