  • BUILT IN - ARTICLE INTRO SECOND COMPONENT

    Critical Issue

    Description

When you use the HDMI TX core on HDMI mode, you may not observe the video display on certain HDMI sink equipment, for example, Samsung monitors or TVs. This problem occurs because the data island preamble created by the HDMI TX core is not exactly 8 symbols, which is the hard requirement for certain HDMI sink equipment.

    Resolution

There is no workaround for this issue.

This issue is fixed in version 15.0 Update 2 of the HDMI IP core.
