DisplayPort 15.0 Design Cannot Generate Executable and Linking Format File

Critical Issue

Description

The DisplayPort version 15.0 designs cannot generate Executable and Linking Format File (.elf) correctly. Without .elf, the DisplayPort IP core is unable to function as normal. This problem is caused by the missing main.c and tx_utils.c files from the Altera Complete Design Suite version 15.0.

Resolution

To work around this issue, use the main.c and tx_utils.c files from an earlier version of the Altera Complete Design Suite.

This issue is fixed in version 15.0 Update 2 of the Altera Complete Design Suite.
