Resource Utilization by Entity report shows zero M20K blocks used after Early Place stage

Critical Issue

Description

After the early place stage of compiling your design, the Resource Utilization by Entity report shows zero M20K memory blocks used. The Resource Usage Summary shows the correct number of M20K blocks used.

After the place stage of compiling your design, the Resource Utilization by Entity report shows the correct number of M20K blocks used.

Resolution

After the early place stage of compiling your design, use the Resource Usage Summary to check the number of M20K blocks used instead of the Resource Utilization by Entity report.
