Why does my Hard IP for PCI Express AVMM-DMA not work for transfer sizes > 8KB or 64KB?

Environment

    Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition
BUILT IN - ARTICLE INTRO SECOND COMPONENT
Description

Due to timing closure issues, starting in the Quartus® Prime software release 15.1, the maximum DMA transfer size was reduced from the previously supported 1MB-1DW to the following:

15.1 : 8KB
16.0 : 64KB

Resolution

You must limit your DMA transfers to the above sizes.

This limit is expected to be increased in a future release of the Quartus Prime software.
