Installation error message appears upon installation of Quartus II software version 10.0 to a Windows 7 operating system

    Description

    After you install the Quartus II software version 10.0 to a Windows 7 operating system, the following message is generated by the operating system:

    This program might not have installed correctly.

    Resolution

    This message appears because Altera has not applied to the Windows 7 Software Logo Program You can safely ignore this message.
