How can I derive the temperature of my Altera device from the tsdcalo signal in the ALTTEMP_SENSE megafunction?

Environment

BUILT IN - ARTICLE INTRO SECOND COMPONENT
Description

The mapping of the tsdcalo[7..0] signal to temperature is linear, when using the ALTTEMP_SENSE meagfunction with  Stratix® IV, Stratix® V or HardCopy® IV devices. The following formula can be used to calculate the device temperature given tsdcalo :

Temperature = x-128

Where x is the decimal value of tsdcalo and Temperature is in Celsius.
