The DesignWare libraries will be referenced as specified in your .synopsys_dc.setup file. The following is an example of a line that references the DesignWare libraries:
define_design_lib DW_APEX20K-3 -path ~/synopsys/libraries/dw/lib
In the above example, the ~/synopsys/libraries/dw/lib directory contains the DesignWare library files. These libraries may be specified incorrectly due to the differences in case-sensitivity between a Windows and UNIX operating system. If you copy these files from the QuartusTM software using Windows-based PC onto a UNIX workstation without maintaining the case of the filenames, you will receive the above warning message.
The Windows operating system is case-insensitive, while UNIX file systems are case-sensitive. The files in the DesignWare library should follow a case format with the filename in capital letters and the extension in lower case letters. Here is an example of a library file that meets the specified criteria:
FLEX_ADD_MOD.syn
