Critical Issue

Description

When you run the HDMI TX core configured at 4 symbols per clock targeting 4Kp60 resolution and interoperating with an external HDMI analyzer (for example, Quantum Data), you may observe Compliance Test Specification (CTS) error. This issue is caused by the data stream disparity issue where the DC balance on the transmitted stream is not maintained. However, you should observe the video display on the standard HDMI sink.

Resolution

There is no workaround for this issue.

This issue is fixed in version 15.1 Update 1 of the HDMI IP core.
