Description
Due to a problem in the Quartus® II software version 11.1 and later, if you use Synplify synthesis tools, you may see this error message when reading the Verilog Quartus Mapping File (.vqm) netlist into the Quartus II software.
Resolution
To work around the problem, edit your .vqm and for any instance of the TRI primitive, change the port names from a_in to in and from a_out to out.
This problem is scheduled to be fixed in a future release of the Quartus II software.
