Why do I get error "Fatal Error: project has no active compiler setting." when trying to run a tool command language (Tcl) script in the QuartusTM software using command line mode?

Environment

BUILT IN - ARTICLE INTRO SECOND COMPONENT
Description This error may occur if you do not set the compiler settings for the current project. To set the compiler settings, enter the following line of code in the Tcl file.

project set_active_cmp <compiler settings file name>

This command designates which Compiler Settings File (.csf) to use before starting a compile. This command is not necessary for a project that already exists when using Tcl through the graphical user interface (GUI).
