How is 3.0V PCI supported in Stratix V devices?

Environment

BUILT IN - ARTICLE INTRO SECOND COMPONENT
Description

In order to support 3.0V PCI in Stratix® V devices, you need to select 3.3V LVTTL as the I/O standard.  You also need to use an external clamp diode in order to limit the overshoot.

In Stratix V devices the 3.3V LVTTL I/O standard uses a VCCIO of 3.0V, which is how the 3.0V PCI specification can be supported.

Simulate to select the best drive strength and slew rate to meet the PCI specification based on your board topology.
