Description You may receive the "Error on line 220086: type mismatch." if you are trying to program a 3rd party QSPI or SPI flash using a Jam™ STAPL (.jam) file since 3rd party QSPI and SPI flashes are not supported. This error may appear when trying to execute the .jam file via the command line (quartus_jli).
Resolution Use an Altera EPCS or EPCQ configuration device.
