Why does it take so long for my newly installed MAX PLUS® II software to launch?

Environment

BUILT IN - ARTICLE INTRO SECOND COMPONENT
Description Once possible reason could be becuase you have a long list of license file locations in your LM_LICENSE_FILE environmental variable.

To avoid this one-time delay, please do the following:

  1. Remove the LM_LICENSE_FILE variable from your machine.
  2. Launch MAX+PLUS II.
  3. Add the appropriate location of the license file into MAX+PLUS II.
  4. Reapply the LM_LICENSE_FILE env variable.
