Error: AHDL feature (Machine alias) not currently supported

Environment

BUILT IN - ARTICLE INTRO SECOND COMPONENT
Description

This error message may occur when you convert a project from the legacy MAX PLUS® II software to the Quartus® II software.

The Quartus II software does not support the machine alias AHDL feature.

Resolution To use the Quartus II software, change your AHDL code to avoid use of this feature.
