Critical Issue
Description
You cannot enable the PowerPlay Power Analyzer for the MAX® 10 device in the Quartus® II software release version 14.0 update 2. When compiling your design, the Quartus II software generates the following error:
Error: PowerPlay Power Analyzer (quartus_pow) cannot
be run -- target family MAX 10 FPGA is not supported
Resolution
The PowerPlay Power Analyzer is not supported for the MAX® 10
device in the Quartus II software release version 14.0 update 2.
You must remove the FLOW_ENABLE_POWER_ANALYZER setting
from your project Quartus II Settings File (.qsf) file,
or set the FLOW_ENABLE_POWER_ANALYZER value to OFF.
This issue will be fixed in a future release of the Quartus II software.
