Description
You may receive this error in the MAX PLUS® II software if the device you entered in the Device dialog box (Assign menu) is not a legal device name. Use the Devices drop-down list box in the Device dialog box to select a legal device name.
If you are using a legal device name, you may also receive this error if you are compiling on a UNIX system with the Migration Devices option (Device dialog box) turned on. To avoid this error, do not use the Migration Devices option.
This problem is fixed in MAX PLUS II version 9.2 and higher.
