Why do I get an error in the DDR3 with UniPHY memory controller when I uncheck the "Enable Reordering" check box under the Controller Settings tab?

Environment

BUILT IN - ARTICLE INTRO SECOND COMPONENT
Description

In the DDR3 memory controller with UniPHY version 11.0, if the "Enable Reordering" check box under the Controller Settings tab is not selected and the "Starvation limit for each command" is set to anything other than 10, then the following error message is displayed:

Error: : The value for 'Starvation limit for each command' is only valid when 'Enable Reordering' checkbox is checked.

The solution is to set the "Starvation limit for each command" to 10 then uncheck the "Enable Reordering" check box.

This is scheduled to be fixed in a future version of the IP and Quartus® II software.
