You may see the following messages while installing the Quartus® II software version 12.0 or later on systems running Red Hat Linux Enterprise 6/ CentOS 6 or later operating systems:
You must install the 32-bit version of the following libraries for the Altera Installer to operate properly:
> glibc
> libXext
> libX11
> libXau
> libXdmcp
> freetype
> fontconfig
> expat
You can install these libraries with the RPM utility on Red Hat Linux Enterprise systems or with the yum utility on CentOS systems. Refer to the Altera Software Installation and Licensing Manual for any additional libraries required by Altera Software.
If you proceed with the installation your software may not function correctly.

The following RPM packages are required to install Altera software with the Altera Installer on systems running Red Hat Linux Enterprise 6 or CentOS 6:
glibc.i686, libXext.i386, libX11.i386, libXau.i386, libXdmcp.i386, freetype.i386, fontconfig.i386, and expat.i386.
