How do I view the routing resources used by my design in the Quartus® II software?

Environment

Description Use the Chip Editor in the Quartus II software to view the routing resources used between any device resources. Follow these steps:

  1. Open the Chip Editor.
  2. Select the device resource(s) you wish to analyze, e.g. logic array block (LAB), logic element (LE), or memory block.
  3. Select either "Show Route Fan-Out" to display the routing channels fanning out of the device resource(s), or "Show Route Fan-In" to display the routing channels fanning into the device resource(s). These options are available in the Chip Editor's toolbar.
