Altera devices pass the UL94V-0 test for flammability?

Description Most of Altera's devices meet the UL94V-0 rating. The 356- and 600-pin ball-grid array (BGA) packages meet the UL94-HB rating. The flammability rating only applies to device packaging, not device families.

The UL94V-0 rating (specified by the Underwriters Laboratories, Inc.) classifies polymeric materials and measures the flammability of plastic materials in devices and appliances. For more information on the ratings, refer to the Underwriters Laboratories web site.
