Can I use the hard processor system (HPS) flash programmer to program a Raw Binary File (.rbf)?

Environment

BUILT IN - ARTICLE INTRO SECOND COMPONENT
Description

The HPS flash programmer supports only the Binary File (.bin) type, not .rbf extension.

Resolution

Change the file extension from .rbf to .bin when you use the HPS flash programmer to program your programming file in .rbf format.

A future version of the Quartus® II software is scheduled to enhance the support of the .rbf file format.
