Description

Due to a problem in the Quartus® II software version 12.0 and later, you may see this error if you have assigned an input HSSI pin with no fan-out.

Resolution

To work around this problem, remove the location assignment for the HSSI pin with no fan-out.

This problem is fixed beginning with the Quartus II software version 12.1.
