Critical Issue

Description

Due to a problem in the Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro software edition v19.3 targeting the Intel® Agilex® IOPLL Intel® FPGA IP. The IOPLL Intel® FPGA IP will incorrectly allow selection of direct and external feedback Compensation modes when the IOPLL Type is set to Fabric-Feeding.

Neither of these two Compensation Modes are supported when the IOPLL Type is set to Fabric-Feeding.

Resolution

Direct and External feedback compensation modes are not supported when the Intel® Agilex® IOPLL Intel® FPGA IP is in Fabric-Feeding mode.

These invalid options have been removed starting from v20.1 of the Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro software.
