Due to a problem in the Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 18.0 Update 1, you cannot generate programming files for the following SX ES and GX ES devices.

To work around this problem, download and install patch 1.11 for version 18.0 Update 1 from the following links. Before installing this patch, you must install the Intel Quartus Prime Pro Edition Software version 18.0 Update 1.
- Download the 18.0.1 patch 1.11 for Windows (.exe)
- Download the 18.0.1 patch 1.11 for Linux (.run)
- Download the Readme for the Intel Quartus Prime Pro Edition software version 18.0 Update 1 patch 1.11 (.txt)
You'll need to enable the dev_password in the Readme file to generate the programming files.
This problem is scheduled to be fixed in a future release of the Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software.
