Description

Due to a problem in DSP Builder for Intel® FPGAs, you may see this warning when simulating a design that includes a DualMem block.

The full warning is

Warning: Address port 3 on DualMem block 'DualMem' is smaller than required to access all addresses and will be zero-padded to bits. You cannot access all addresses from this port. SUGGESTION: Change the data type of the source block.

 

Resolution

The warning for Address port 3 is incorrect and safe to ignore.

This problem is fixed beginning with version 20.1 of DSP Builder for Intel® FPGAs.
