Is there a power-down sequence requirement for Stratix V devices?

Environment

BUILT IN - ARTICLE INTRO SECOND COMPONENT
Description

All power rails on Stratix® V ES and Production devices can be powered down simultaneously, provided that all power rails reach 0V within the Tramp time of 100ms from the start of the power down event.

If all power rails do not reach 0V within 100ms, surge currents on the order of several hundred milliamps can occur that may lead to device damage.

Stratix V designs that use the ES device power sequence can directly support Stratix V production devices.

For more information on the Stratix V ES device power sequence requirements, refer to the Errata Sheet and Guidelines for Stratix V ES Devices (PDF).

For more information on the Stratix V Production device power sequence requirements, refer to Power Management in Stratix V Devices (PDF).
