Description
Due to a problem in the Quartus Prime software, you may see this internal error in the assembler stage of compilation. This error occurs when you have 5 or more advanced SEU detection (ASD) regions in your design and you are targeting a Stratix V E9, EB, A9 or AB device.
Resolution
To work around this problem, ensure there are 4 or fewer ASD regions in your design.
Future versions of the Quartus Prime software are scheduled to give an error message explaining this limitation.
