Description

Due to a problem in the Quartus® II software version 12.1 and later, you may see this error during Analysis & Synthesis when compiling designs with high RAM Block usage.

Resolution

To work around this problem, add the following assignment to the Quartus II Settings File (.qsf) file:

 

set_global_assignment -name AUTO_RAM_BLOCK_BALANCING OFF
