Why do I receive an error message when generate the FIR compiler?

You may receive the following error message when generating the FIR compiler by using 64 bit of Quartus.

Error Message: java.io.FileNotFoundException: C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Temp\ncg_886961157648532613\mcv_fir_coef.txt (The system cannot find the file specified)

Please go to control panel -> system -> Advance -> Environment Variables

In the User variables:

Please ensure the “PATH” variable is included the “%QUARTUS_ROOTDIR%\bin” correctly.

In the System variables:

Please ensure the QUARUS_ROOTDIR is pointed to the Quartus II version that you are currently using. E.g. D:\Altera\11.1SP2\quartus
