What do column and row I/O banks refer to in Altera devices?

Description

Column I/O banks refer to the top and bottom I/O banks (also referred to as vertical) and row I/O banks refer to side (left and right, or horizontal) I/O banks in Altera® devices.

You can refer to each device handbook for figures showing I/O bank location.
