Why does Qsys give a warning message "Nios II Classic cores are not superseded by improved Gen 2 cores" when instantiating Nios II Classic?

Due to a problem in the Quartus® II software version 15.0, when Nios® II Classic Processor is instantiated, Qsys will prompt warning message stated that "Nios II Classic cores are not superseded by improved Gen 2 cores."

In the Quartus® II software version 15.0, there are two version of Nios II IP cores available which are listed as below:

• Nios II
• Nios II Classic

Please ignore the "Gen 2" keyword in the warning messages or use the available Nios II processor cores instead of Nios II Classic processor to avoid this warning message.

This problem is scheduled to be fixed in a future release of the Quartus II Software
