Description
Due to a problem with the Intel® Quartus® Prime Standard Doftware version 18.0, you may observe the above error when you perform automatic upgrade on the Intel® Arria® V XAUI PHY Intel FPGA IP from v17.1 to v18.0.
Resolution
For Quartus v18.0, create a new instance of this IP in Intel Quartus Prime Standard Software version 18.0.
This problem is fixed starting with the Intel® Quartus® Prime Standard Edition Software version 18.1.
