Attempting to uninstall the Altera Complete Design Suite can fail with "TypeError: not enough arguments for format string."

Critical Issue

Description

If you attempt to uninstall the Altera® Complete Design Suite, but the current login account has insufficient permissions, uninstallation fails with the message:

TypeError: not enough arguments for format string.

Resolution

Use the same account to uninstall the software as was used to install the software. Ensure that the account has sufficient permissions to uninstall the software.

This issue is fixed beginning with the Quartus® II software version 11.0 SP1.
