Description
No error message appears to signal an invalid configuration when you set Total interface width to 24 or 40 when targeting Arria V devices, with the Enable Hard External Memory Interface option enabled and the Error Correction Code option disabled. Your design may fail in simulation.
This issue affects the DDR2 and DDR3 SDRAM Controllers targeting the hard memory interface on Arria V devices.
Resolution
There is no workaround for this issue.
