Archive Project feature does not automatically archive all the input files required to regenerate a Qsys system

Critical Issue

Description

If your design includes a Qsys system and you use the Archive Project feature on the Project menu to organize your Qsys files, the Archive Project feature does not automatically archive all the input files necessary to regenerate the Qsys system.

Resolution

Incorporate the necessary input files into the list of files to be archived by following these steps:

  1. On the Projects menu, click Archive Project.
  2. In the Archive Project dialog box, click Advanced.
  3. In the Advanced Archive Settings dialog box, click Add to open the browser window.
  4. Select all the related IP HDL and _hw.tcl files, hierarchical Qsys systems, and any files generated for simulation.
  5. Click Open to incorporate the files into the archive.
