Description
Due to a bug in Quartus® II software versions 13.0 and 13.1, you may see the Fitter error above if you have two or more transceiver channels with data rates higher than 6.5536 Gbps sharing the same CMU PLL in one Arria® V GT transceiver bank.
Resolution
This is a known problem with Quartus II software versions 13.0 and 13.1 that will be fixed in a future version.
You can set both the following parameters in the Native PHY IP MegaWizard™ to work around this problem:
- Bonding mode = x1
- Selected clock network = xN
