Low Latency 40GbE IP Core Does Not Support Pause Retransmission

Critical Issue

Description

The Low Latency 40-100GbE IP core should support pause retransmission in variations that include a flow control module. However, pause retransmission does not occur in LL 40GbE variations that support standard flow control. Instead, in response to each pause request, the IP core transmits a single pause packet.

Resolution

This issue has no workaround.

This issue is fixed in version 15.0 of the Low Latency 40- and 100-Gbps Ethernet MAC and PHY IP core.
