Description
This error may occur in the Quartus® II software version 10.0 SP1 and earlier when you edit a SignalTap® II Trigger Condition. The error occurs when you type a value of 0 directly into the Trigger Condition field.
For example, to apply a value of 0 for a 12 bit bus, you could type a 000 hex value or a 000000000000 binary value directly into the Trigger Condition field. This will generate the above error in the Quartus II software. The error does not occur for non-zero values.
To avoid the error, apply the value of 0 by right-clicking in the Trigger Condition field and select the value of 0 Low from the list provided.
This problem is scheduled to be fixed in a future version of the Quartus II software.
