Why does the Intel® FPGA Advanced Link Analyzer Tool hang or take a long time to run a simulation?

    Description

    The Intel® FPGA Advanced Link Analyzer (ALA) Tool reads and writes a high quantity of data to the storage drive. The tool may appear to hang or take a long time to run a simulation when files are stored on a networked drive.

    Resolution

    To solve this problem, ensure that all files required to run an ALA simulation are stored on a local hard disk (HDD).
