Description
The following error messages may be seen in the Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 18.0 when you use the transceiver toolkit and load design for Intel® Stratix® 10 TX E-tile device.
- Failed to query line encoding
- Failed to access soft registers
- Failed to query firmware version
Resolution
To avoid this error message, the reconfig_clk for transceiver PHY IP should be a free running clock. Otherwise, you may encounter the error.
